Do You Really Need to Change Your Hairstyle?
    By Paul Jones

The answer may be yes, the answer may be no! But, then, how do you know? There's a simple solution. If your charm still continues to cast its spell on your near and dear ones, probably your hairstyle is working perfectly on you. But, again, you may have some other reasons. You may want to give yourself a completely new look, either to get the gorgeous look of your favorite celebrity, or try a contemporary style that is rocking the glamour world. In fact, the need to change hairstyle can be myriad.
The crowning part of your beauty and personality is your hair. Your hair is like you, unique and inimitable. So, there can't be any laid-down formula for the most perfect hairstyle for anybody. Hairstyle always has to be exclusive. Two faces can never look equally appealing with similar hairstyle. There are a lot of factors, like hair shape, hair texture, hair color, hair oiliness, and hair volume that decide the hairstyle that can go best on you. Moreover, things like the shape of your face and body, the occasion you are going to attend, the dress and ornaments that you are going to wear, and similar other things also considerably modulate your hairstyle.
So, how do you choose your hairstyle? Obviously, the first thing is, you have to look beautiful sporting that style. All styles do not go well with everybody. You may love and yearn for those awesome curls on your favorite actress, but when you really get them, you may not find yourself looking all that appealing. The best tip here is to try and see. There are some general thumb rules, like a curly or wavy hairstyle goes best with a face having a square jaw and braw, a shoulder-length bob-cut can cut the cheeks in a round face and make it look slimmer and longer, braids, knots and other elaborate styles suit the long hair more, or finger combing works best on short, wiry or curly hair giving it volume and shape.
Choices for you are many. You may want to get those subtle highlights that add a sun-kissed sparkle to your tresses. Having black hair is a boon, but it can make you look mature. So, you may consider adding a shade of red or brown to provide contrast, and also to make you look young. Do consider your skin tone when choosing the right color for your hair. Tell your hairstylist what you want or do it yourself. See how you look and listen to what your admirers say. Whether it's good or not so good, changing hairstyles create a new aura and present you in different styles, keeping you always at the centre of attraction.
Are hairstyles only for women? The answer, obviously, is an emphatic NO. Hairstyles are also an integral part of a man's beauty, personality, status and charisma. It's hard to imagine a George Bush or a Bill Gates in a ponytail! You might think that finding a good hairstyle for men is like searching for a needle in a haystack, considering that men are stereotyped to having that crew cut from birth to death. This is absolutely wrong. You can have the classic men's cut and still be in style, especially if you are in a ‘heavy' profession like a lawyer or a bureaucrat who wants to have that respect-me look. You can even go for that Caesar cut, the typical short-and-bangs style that can give you that youthful look. You can use gel to tame the bangs if you want to looks serious. Then, for the hip-hop type, you can try the spiked look that is a favorite among the young men who want to have a fusion of the respectable and the flirty in their looks. In fact, the choices are innumerable.
In hairstyles, only sky is the limit. And, best results come only with patience.
